The value of educational institutions in producing graduates who are prepared for the workforce has grown as the job market advances. There is still a big disconnect between college education and industry demands, even though India produces millions of graduates every year. This gap impacts the country’s economic potential, making it harder for students to find employment. Institutions should reconsider their approaches to curriculum and placement to narrow this gap.
According to a TeamLease survey, more than 1.5 million engineering students graduate every year. However, barely 10% of them find satisfying jobs.
